Team fortress 2 files not validating Dirty talking bot chat
EVERY SINGLE TIME, I have to wait for 10 minutes to download it and play TF2. A FOV slider is available within the options which is limited to 75-90°, but this sets the FOV for a 4:3 aspect ratio. That's definitely not normal, and like someone else said it sounds like your hard drive is either very fragmented or possibly going bad. For a 16:9 aspect ratio, a setting of 90° results in a FOV slightly above 106.
It was only my Steam Partition, and not my main one.
It was most likely due to me downloading several games off steam at once.
That's definitely not normal, and like someone else said it sounds like your hard drive is either very fragmented or possibly going bad.
I would use chkdsk at this point to see if you have any bad sectors on your hard drive.
Among other things, it fixes the constant file verifications when starting Steam, and also makes game load times considerably quicker.
