Im 17 dating 22 year old
Yeah, I'm not necessarily really against this age difference, but when I was 22, I had absolutely no desire to date 17 year olds and didn't even cross my mind to think of them as dateable. There's a huge difference in terms of where people are at at that specific time in life.If your mom isn't okay with you dating you should see if it works out with him, if it does give her hints your interested in guys, maybe she will give you permission to date. * Still your son is an Adult and she is not, So they shouldn't have sex, but dating well, if her parents are Ok with it ...
Parents are going to have to get over the fact that it is your life and you are going to be turning 18 at some point in your life.
if you want to tell your mom you are dating then just come out with it but if you haven't gotten serious with him then tell her could or should make it a little easier on her but just in case make sure he is the right one for you.
If you said no don't tell your mom, but if you said yes you should let her know. WHO MEANS MORE TO YOU YOUR MOM OR THE MAN THAT POSSIBLE BROKE HER HEART! If he isn't the father than he should have no problem.
Plus gut instinct is to think of the older person as a creep.
Maybe not fair, we don't know OP, but he's going to have to deal with that and accept that he will be seen as a creep in his and her social circles.
